Say Less — Data Deletion

Effective 27 August 2026.

What we hold

If you have interacted with Say Less by @mentioning it in a public Instagram comment, or by replying to one of its comments, we may hold your Instagram-scoped user ID, your username, the text of that public comment, the IDs of the post and parent comment, and whether you agreed or declined to take part. This is described in full in our Privacy Policy.

How to request deletion

1. Email pzlydak@gmail.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request.
2. Include the Instagram username you used.
3. So we can confirm the request is yours, send it from an address associated with that account, or reply to Say Less publicly from that account to confirm.

We will confirm receipt within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What deletion removes

We delete the records described above. We cannot delete your comment from Instagram itself — you can remove that from within Instagram at any time — and we cannot delete replies that Instagram has already distributed. Where we are required to keep a minimal record to avoid re-processing the same comment, we retain only an irreversible identifier and no personal content.

Revoking access

If you connected an Instagram account to Say Less, you can revoke that at Instagram › Apps and Websites. Revoking stops future access but does not by itself delete records already held; use the request process above.
